GraPhig – Anime paper craft figures

ImageA new ‘line of figures’ seems to have appeared, only difference is these are made of paper and arrive to you flat-packed ready for you to assemble, ‘GraPhig paper craft’. Hatsune Miku, no.001 (very appropriate), was the first GraPhig to be released back in 2011. Now, in 2013 the count currently stands at 212 with little sign of slowing down.

The figures themselves require no glue, sticking or cutting to assemble, the sections simply slot together hassle free. When I first saw images of the GraPhig’s online I wasn’t overly impressed and dismissed it as ‘expensive paper’. However, seeing recent images from the GraPhig exhibition where the whole paper craft collection was displayed together, it really caught my eye! Perhaps they simply look more appealing/less out of place when displayed as a group? Either way seeing all the different characters lined up in their neat little rows, with their funny…
